Introduction

Associate Degree in Psychology is a two-year undergraduate degree offered by the Department of Social Sciences. The program is designed to cater all necessary needs of students related to the field of Psychology.

The two-year program focuses on the intricacies of individual differences, and the cultural significance of psychological theories, assessment and practices. Since Psychology is a field that has struggled to be recognized as a science within Pakistan, the launching of this program will aid in furthering our society towards mental and emotional wellbeing.

Learning Outcomes 

After completing the program, a student will be able to:

  • Be leaders in industry or academia by demonstrating their knowledge and technical, managerial and human skills for the benefit of individual society’s built and natural environments.

  • Exhibit a quest for learning and initiative by continuously broadening their abilities and enhancing their human and technical skills to maintain their relevance with technological/theoretical/therapeutic change.

  • Demonstrate commitment to ethical practices, community service and societal contribution.

Entry Criteria 

Intermediate Pre – Engineering / Pre- Medical / Science General / Commerce with passing marks or equivalent 

Progression: The students, after obtaining the degree may continue their studies towards BS (4-year) program and the relevant qualified courses will be exempted/transferred, accordingly.
